The stage stand concept has been taken a step forward with this product!

This stand has a base foot that is screwed to any wooden surface, the bank stick is then screwed into it, alternatively the screw can be placed inside the stick and screwed down whilst the base is attached.
 

The beauty of this stand is that by screwing the optional extension on you can turn it into a regular bank stick, thus elimintating the need to carry separate sticks.
